Víctimas documentadas por la Asociación para la Recuperación de la Memoria Histórica (ARMH)
Description
The dataset Victims documented by the Asociación para la Recuperación de la Memoria Histórica (ARMH), with 29,503 files, is a list of people who were victims of forced disappearance whose cases have been raised by their families who have never been able to establish their burial places. Their disappearance may have occurred for a number of reasons including that they may have been shot after a military trial, that they may have been victims of an extrajudicial execution, or that they may have only been recorded as missing some years after their deaths. What makes them victims of forced disappearance is that their families really don’t know their burial places until they are identified. In relation to these victims, the Asociación para la Recuperación de la Memoria Histórica has collected documentation from a variety of different sources. Update: 4 October 2019.
